We believe that glorifying God through worship is one of
the essential elements of a Christian life. Our worship
style is lively traditional, informal and friendly.
Service Times
We have two worship services every Sunday at 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
Childcare is available in the
Nursery during
both services. Children age 2 through sixth grade may attend
Sunday School at 9:00 am. Activity bags and
children’s bulletins are available in the entryway to the
Sanctuary for children attending the service. Enhanced
hearing devices and large-print bulletins are available from
our ushers for those who need them.
Communion
We offer Communion during both services on the first
Sunday of every month. Communion is open to all - you do not
have to be a member of FUMC or the United Methodist Church.
Christ our Lord invites to his table all who love him, who
earnestly repent of their sin and seek to live in peace with
one another.
Healing Services
Healing is a part of the ministry of the Church. At the end of both services, every fifth Sunday of the month, we offer the healing rituals of anointing, laying on of hands and prayer to anyone experiencing physical, emotional, spiritual or relational brokenness. Our Stephen Ministers assist in the healing service. "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord."
– James 5:14.
Healing Services in 2012 are on the following dates:
January 29, April 29, July 29, September 30 and December 30.
Fellowship Hour
We believe it’s important for our congregation to build
lasting relationships to support each other in our faith.
The time immediately following the 9:00 am service is one
opportunity to do so – while enjoying a beverage and snack!
