Adult Studies
You need not be at every session to be part of a
study – drop in when you can! Childcare is available
from 7:00-8:00 pm for children under the age of 5 while
parents are in class.
DISCIPLE 3: Remember Who You Are
This study focuses on the Old Testament prophets and the letters of Paul. The prophets and Paul are continually calling hearers and readers back to their God and to a sense of who they are as a people "set apart." Several themes weave their way through the study: the call to remember, the call to repentance, the need for renewed vision, and the place of community. Facilitators: Rev. Michael Morris and Marianne Kozak. Book cost is $40.
Meets on Wednesdays from 7:00-9:00 pm for 32 weeks,
beginning September 14, 2011.
THE SHACK
In a world where religion seems to grow increasingly irrelevant, The Shack, a novel by William Paul Young, wrestles with the timeless question, 'Where is God in a world so filled with unspeakable pain?' The answer will astound you and perhaps transform you. Join us for reading and discussion of the book. Facilitator: Rev. Carol Quinn. Book cost is $8.
Meets on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30 pm for 6 weeks, beginning March 21, 2012
(please note that class will not meet during Holy Week on April 4, 2012)
Please contact
Rev. Carol Quinn with any questions about these
classes.
