Kids in
Mission
Children can participate in mission projects in a
variety of ways. The projects we support are chosen by
the Children’s Ministries team. Our weekly Sunday School
offering goes to support these endeavors and provide
supplies for mission related projects that are
undertaken by the children as part of their Sunday
School curriculum. Our fifth and sixth grade curriculum
includes service to church and community, and mission
projects.
Our Mission Projects for
2010-2011:
- Fall: Operation Christmas Child, Trick or Treat for
UNICEF, making blankets for The Linus Project
- Winter: Palatine Township Angel Tree, Habitat for
Humanity
- Spring: United Methodist Children’s Fund, Heifer
