Together in
Christ
Together in Christ provides information about our
congregation and an opportunity to get to know other
persons who are part of the church. The class meets for
three Sunday sessions. Typically, we share a light meal
at noon, followed by class, which lasts until
approximately 2:00 pm. In addition to learning about
United Methodism, and more specifically our church, you
will meet people who come to share about their
involvement in the ministries of our church. The class is led by our senior pastor, Rev. Michael Morris, and our Small Group/Discipleship Coordinator, Rev. Carol Quinn. An invitation will be sent out for this class a few weeks prior to its start.
These meetings are for the whole family. Let us know if
you will be bringing any children so we can plan
accordingly. Childcare will be provided if needed but
you must let us know beforehand.
Following the three sessions, those who are ready to
become members of the congregation will be invited to
join, though there will be no pressure to do so. You are
welcome to participate in this class simply for
information or “get-acquainted” purposes.
Sunday, October 14, 21, and 28, 2012 will be our next Together in Christ class. Please contact Rev. Carol Quinn with any questions you may have.
