News & Announcements

  • FUMC Marriage Ministry Retreat - Friday, February 10 to Saturday, February 11, 2012. Share time with your spouse and others couples, enriching your marriage through both play time and study time at the Conference Point Center in Williams Bay, WI. Click here for more information. Sign up deadline is January 30.

  • The Missions Committee is pleased to announce the establishment of the Susan McClintock Memorial Missions Fund. The purpose of the fund is to support financially individuals or groups connected to our congregation who will be actively participating in mission projects beyond FUMC. Click here to learn more.

  • A new Thursday morning Bible Study, led by Rev. Michael Morris will begin on February 9, 2012. It will be on the New Testament books of Ephesians, I and II Timothy, Titus, and James. The class will meet from 10:00 to 11:30 am for six weeks. Click here for specific dates and more information. Sign up in the church lobby or contact the office.

  • United Methodist Women invite all women to a Luncheon & Book Review on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Adult Meeting Room. Janice Gintzler will be our speaker. Please bring a sandwich. Chips, coffee and dessert will be provided.

  • Attention Hockey Fans of ALL Ages!! Come join our youth ministry at a Chicago Express Hockey Game! We'll be heading to the Sears Center in Hoffman Estates on Sunday, February 26, 2012. Cost is $13 per person if we get a group of 15 or more. This is a very family friendly venue and a chance to see some good hockey nearby. Here's the best part … if you want to, BRING YOUR SKATES FOR SKATING WITH TEAM after the game. The puck drops at 4:00 pm and we should be done by 7:15 pm. Pick up and drop off are at the arena. This event is open to ALL of FUMC! To reserve tickets, please contact Nancy Nelson by Sunday, February 19.
